dazed but caffeinated

CH Foulk

Ok, I’ve been instructed to fill out this page “about me” so you can have an idea of who I am, and what I do.

I’m not the best at talking about myself, so don’t get too excited, but here goes.

My name is Cari Hawks Foulk, but most people just call me CH, or Cari. Take your pick, either is fine.

After several years as a freelance editor, and an internship, this past December I took a position as a literary agent in partnership with Jonathan Clements, Wheelhouse Literary Group. I’m running a division of said group, called Tribe Literary, (or TribeLit as we like to call it). I rep fiction, all types, and have a stable of the best writers on the planet.

Hmmm…. What else.
I’m a Leo, my favorite color is pink, I’m addicted to caffeine and good music.

I like to travel, run, and shoot pool. Also love water sports, reading, and meeting new people. Adore my friends, and am always up for an adventure, and witty, intelllectual banter.

I don’t like pretentious folks, fake-ness, laundry, or preservatives. Nor do I like gossip or destructive behavior.

Was that enough? If you need more info, I’m happy to answer any questions. Just be sure you really want to know. :) )

  1. I have seen your name many times on Twitter as an agent to literary writers. I was wondering what kind of literary you specialize in, Fiction, Non-fiction and if you consider newer writers as seriously as you would consider one who’s been around the block a few times? I am fairly new at this, with a few books put out by POD presses, but they do sell and my readers love them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you,

    • Bradley,
Thank you for your interest! I am a literary agent, and I most certainly consider new / debut writers. I’m going to email you the answers to your other questions, ok? Hope your weekend is great :) )
